JINNAH
I saw this brilliant movie today, JINNAH. I had been waiting for a long time to watch it, and I finally did today. It was awesome. Times were much simpler then. The politicians used to come infront of the general public when it came to answering questions. Now-a-days, they only come infront of the press ppl with conditions of not touching on the topics they dont want them to touch. The politicians are becoming more and more distant, and more and more evil.
We need to read about history more often than we do, and learn lessons from it. Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a down-to-earth, faithful, and a strong-willed man with a vision. He did not divide India... he saved the Muslims and gave them a safer place to practice what they believed in.
What would he have said, if he were alive today?
Stanley Wolpert on Jinnah -- "Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation-state. Mohammad Ali Jinnah did all the three.”
