Animal Testing

Poor animals have been tested on a lot in almost every field. People get nobel prizes for working on them and finding out useful information, I think that those animals should atleast be co-winners. lol
I read this really funny one in my book, so I thought I'd share it with the world. :)
Frogs and toads regenrate body parts, so research on them may provide clues to healing process. Sperry (1943) REMOVED the eyes of mature frogs and rotated them 180 degrees. The nerve endings regenreated and soon the frogs could see again, but their visual worlds were displaced 180 degrees. lol. When a fly was offered above and to the left of them, their tongues flicked down and to the right. Imagine that! Poor frogs. They're screwed for life.
